Clean Factory has finally released its replica of the Explorer II. Essentially, Clean Factory now covers nearly the entire range of Rolex models.

This Clean‑made reference 226570 Explorer II runs on the Dandong‑built Cal.3285 clone movement and comes in two dial variants: black and white.
Its biggest highlight is this Cal.3285 movement. While it shares the same movement family as the 126710, the Cal.3285 inside the 226570 is a larger‑size variant. Its date position also differs from that of the 126710. For this reason, most 226570 replicas on the market feature an incorrect date placement. Since the Explorer II remains a relatively niche model, movement manufacturers have been reluctant to develop a dedicated movement for it. It took Clean Factory more than one year to persuade the Dandong movement factory to develop this bespoke unit.

There are substantial differences between the 226570 and the older 216570, including movement revisions, case modifications, updated hands, and altered font weight on the bezel.
Genuine black‑dial examples from earlier years retain the older thin‑font bezel.
By contrast, the white‑dial genuine watch purchased in 2023 features the new bold‑font bezel.

The Explorer II is a remarkable timepiece and stands out as something rather special within Rolex’s full catalogue. Before Clean launched this version, no reasonably accurate replica was available. It is hoped that Clean Factory will continue delivering more high‑quality timepieces in future.
