Left / Right: GEN = Genuine watch; Clean = Clean‑factory replica. Under soft‑box studio lighting, the coffee‑toned dial shows noticeable colour deviation. However, under natural daylight, the colour match exceeds 95 %. Natural‑light comparison photos will be shown later. On the Clean‑factory coffee dial, the brown shade is slightly lighter than the genuine piece. Sunburst dials naturally shift colour under varying lighting conditions. As long as RGB values stay within the reference baseline, overall visual divergence remains minimal.

For all of its coloured sunburst dials — including Submariner, Datejust and this Yacht‑Master dial — Clean applies the identical PVD electroplating process used on genuine watches. This prevents batch‑to‑batch colour inconsistency. The thin deposited layer lets the underlying sunburst grain show clearly, though this process comes at higher production cost.

The bezel receives PVD rose‑gold plating plus an anti‑fingerprint coating. Instead of ordinary brass, the bezel base is made of stainless steel, which delivers greater hardness than brass. Significant effort has been invested in both machining and material costs.
