- The Clean Cal.3285 is built upon the Dandong Cal.3235 platform with an added GMT module, so its stability and power reserve are unquestionable. It is expected to deliver solid performance.
- According to Clean Factory, the Dandong Cal.3285 will be sold exclusively by Clean Factory.
- We have verified the 40‑hour power reserve of the Shanghai Cal.3285. However, its long‑term stability remains untested. Hopefully it can keep reliable time‑keeping and provide buyers with an alternative option.
Conclusion During disassembly, obvious discrepancies were found in the Shanghai Cal.3285 due to the lack of a true 1:1 mould. Even so, it will undoubtedly capture a share of the market despite those mechanical differences.
Most recent 3285 movements on the market have been upgraded to the 70‑hour power‑reserve variant. Manufacturers including Clean, C+ and C+ PLUS have rolled out this updated version with only a slight increase in complete‑watch prices.
