Replica Tudor Heritage Black Bay watches have gained huge popularity. Tudor carries a low-profile brand positioning while inheriting Rolex design language. ZF Factory produces the full lineup of this collection. My evaluation of ZF watches remains neutral, as it outsources much of its manufacturing instead of producing everything in-house. Leveraging its extensive sales network, ZF acts as an intermediary to earn profit margins, making it a factory that prioritizes commercial gains.
However, the Tudor Heritage Black Bay is its core in-house model: simple, durable and free of fancy embellishments. Building on the success of the Red Flower variant, ZF rolled out the two-tone version. Let’s check how it stacks up against the genuine watch.

Upon overall inspection, the two watches show an extremely high degree of consistency, with no obvious discrepancies.

Upon close inspection of the watch head, ZF perfectly replicates the 41mm polished and brushed steel case. It features a gold unidirectional rotating bezel marked with 60-minute scales and a matte black anodized aluminum insert. Running your fingers over the bezel grooves, the tactile feel matches the genuine watch exactly.

Like the genuine watch, ZF uses high-transparency sapphire crystal. Viewed from any angle, both timepieces reveal fine details on the dial clearly. When viewed at an extreme 30-degree oblique angle, the ZF version even delivers slightly better light transmission. Though, I doubt anyone reads the time from a 30-degree slanted perspective.

The gold screw-down winding crown is engraved with the Tudor rose emblem and finished in black lacquer. This black anodized aluminum winding crown shows no noticeable differences compared with the genuine one.

Now let’s examine the side profile. Both watches have identical thickness. ZF achieves superb finishing on the lugs and edges, faithfully replicating the chamfer curve of the genuine watch. Products from other factories tend to have slightly larger dimensions than the original, to varying degrees.

The back side also bears minimal difference from the genuine watch. Due to how the watch was positioned during shooting, slight reflection on the genuine caseback obscured its textures and brushed metal grain. In reality, both look as if cast from the exact same mold.

ZF equips this watch with a Sea-Gull 2824 movement. It delivers accurate and stable timekeeping. The movement can run reliably for 5 to 6 years without servicing.

As you can see, the engravings on the inner side of the genuine movement cover are slightly rough, while those made by ZF are surprisingly smoother and more refined than the original.

Bracelets and clasps are often overlooked by watch manufacturers. However, in pursuit of ultimate replication, ZF has crafted the bracelet and clasp to match the genuine piece perfectly, without any perceptible differences.
