Piaget watches have always sat on the fringe of the replica watch market, with few well-executed versions. Due to low market demand, manufacturers have not paid much attention to this line, disappointing many Piaget enthusiasts. Today we introduce this ultra-thin three-hand Piaget Polo. It comes in three dial colours: blue, black and white.
Even though the case measures 42mm, thanks to its tonneau-shaped case design, it visually appears bulkier than most standard 42mm watches. However, its great advantage lies in its slim profile.
The movement is a Citizen 9015 modified to replicate the original Cal.1110P with an integrated design, reducing malfunctions caused by added base plates. The Citizen 9015 boasts excellent reliability. Recently, MKS Factory has mostly adopted this movement for all its three-hand watch models.
Since it is molded from the genuine watch, the luminous markers and the proportional length of hands are nearly identical to the original. The top case cover of this watch features a brushed finish to minimize scratches caused during daily wear.
Even though it is positioned as a dress watch, it comes with high-grade luminous coating covering a relatively large area for practical daily use.
You can get a general sense of the watch’s thickness from the side view, which measures 9.4mm. Those who prefer ultra-thin timepieces will know what to expect. Every Piaget watch crown is engraved with the letter “P” as its signature mark.
The design of the strap bears a strong resemblance to the Ballon Bleu, combining polished and brushed finishes alternately.
The clasp is a double-press butterfly buckle. There are no innovative elements in its structure, yet this design stands out for its durability. Fine details including engravings are all well rendered.
This Polo sits at the entry level within Piaget’s watch lineup. Its official retail price is roughly 80,000 RMB, and it can be purchased for around 60,000 RMB if bought overseas. Therefore, its design and technology are relatively basic, which makes it easier to replicate, as it does not feature overly complicated mechanics. Older replica versions on the market were not molded from genuine samples, while this new release is the first replica made using an authentic watch as the mold source. Hence its dimensions and thickness are faithfully reproduced. There are no competing factory references for comparison either, since this is a niche replica piece.
