APS Factory AP Royal Oak 15720 Real vs Fake Comparison Review

Here come the side-by-side comparison photos of the APS Factory version against the genuine watch, featuring the green dial this time. The official factory description is largely accurate. If price is not a concern, the APS 15720 is top-tier, outperforming alternatives such as the ZF Factory model. A link to real shots of the grey dial will be available at the bottom of the page.

The genuine 15720ST watch is on the left, and the APS replica version is on the right. At first glance, the two look identical.

APS Factory uses imported sapphire crystal, whose visual effect fully matches the genuine watch. An anti-reflective clear coating is applied on the inner side of the crystal to enhance the legibility of the dial.

The ink printing for the logo and lettering is raised and substantial, crisp and easy to read. Both use the same textured base background; APS perfectly matches the original in stroke thickness and character size. The painted Arabic numerals feature a three-dimensional finish. The inner bezel adjustment mechanism is fully replicated from the genuine piece for a lifelike appearance.

Many smaller watch factories pay little attention to the case back, but APS Factory is different. Even for the case back that is rarely seen, it is meticulously polished, making the overall replica far superior to low-quality pieces from minor manufacturers. The layout of engravings on the rear case is perfectly matched, with consistent font thickness and engraving depth. The curvature depth of the entire case back follows the specifications of the genuine watch. The balance wheel is positioned at the 8 o’clock position, unlike the 6 o’clock position found in the 9015 movement.

APS Factory bears high production costs and keeps developing its exclusive custom-molded movement. By disassembling and measuring the genuine movement, the Cal.4308 automatic winding movement has been successfully replicated. Its appearance and overall mechanical structure are extremely close to the original Cal.4308.

The hands made by APS match the original in shape, size and luminous filling. Imported C3 luminous pigment is used, delivering bright and long-lasting luminescence.

APS achieves tight control over the watch thickness, keeping the tolerance within 0.1mm. The curved lines on the side are smooth and highly consistent with the genuine piece. When worn on the wrist, it feels indistinguishable from the original in both weight and texture.

The rubber strap uses the same fluoroelastomer (FKM) rubber as the genuine watch. The end links are embedded within the strap, making it fully interchangeable with the original — a direct drop-in replacement. The clasp also features a quick-release design.
